LATER: I want to make photobooks for each of the children. I have 12 years of photos which are lying about in various hard-drives etc. I downloaded Picasa and let it do its thing... 6 hours later it has identified friends and family across the years. The more you tell it by confirming or correcting it, the more accurate it becomes. It can now correctly identify which of my babies is which at 1 month! Amazing, it takes me a good hard look... Definitely recommended. Free too.
