MonoMonday: Trio

Trilliums were blooming alongside the paths we hiked on this weekend near Mt.Adams. Nearly all parts of the plant come in threes, hence its name. In the extra I've added a color version, which shows the three petals and leaves a bit more clearly. And one more shot of the mountain, taken right after sunrise this morning. We got up early, took our coffee along and went by the river to see the morning unfold.
