Derwentwater

A very enjoyable day!

A little drive around in the morning, as I do on Sundays.
An afternoon around Derwentwater having coffee and scones at Nichol End then a visit to blipper, SueMiddleton's, Derwent Water Marina (in the background of this blip). I should have checked her blips and I would have seen she was away!
A trip up to Grange-in-Borrowdale and a walk along the shingle under the bridge.

Next a wander round Keswick eventually meeting Technophobe and LooseCanon who'd invited us for a meal with them and DavidC and his wife Sheilah. We were enjoying a good chat with our first drink while we studied the menu. At 7.20pm we went to the bar to order and were told they had finished serving meals!!!!  At 7.20pm!!!

A lovely meal was had over the road at the Royal Oak and lots of good conversation and laughter!
