Zion’s scouts lookout
Our final day of walking, and an early start to avoid the worst of the heat. This walk was different as we went up hill first, and while we went up approx 1000 foot over 2miles it started at a much lower altitude! In the photo you can people zig zagging their way upwards
At the top there are 21 steep switchbacks called Walter’s wiggles. At the top we were treated to a flying display from 4 Californian Condors - one of the worlds rarist birds, and North America’s largest with a wing span of approx 9 foot!
