When all the birds are singing in the sky

Seven years ago Boy had been away for his first year at Uni; he was just due home and I was chatting back and forth with amalarian - she had wisdom and years on me.

I emailed her one day to reply to her advice with another question and didn’t get a reply - until a day later when her husband replied to tell me she was very poorly; and then again shortly after to tell me she had passed.

Her very last picture was of one of her dogs and a rather resplendent alium - I decided then that I would grow some in her memory... it’s taken me seven years! Seven years!!!!

How the bloody hell did that happen?

Where did seven years go?

Boy finished Uni - got a job; tooli left school, went to Uni, finished Uni, worked in Edinburgh, disappeared off to Australia ...

And Am still here - finally with an Alium. Not a particularly resplendent one But an alium none the less and when I see them, am Always reminded of you, Molly
