On the right lines

Took the day off today as the forecast was good, so we went down to Folkestone. A walk along the Leas, harbour arm and the beach towards Capel-le-Ferne.

Found these interesting old rail tracks on a concrete beach at an area known as the Warren! According to www.discoveringbritain.org "folkestone eaten viewpoint" in Edwardian times this was once a popular beach area with its own railway station, until 1915 when a landslide destroyed everything. Chalk on top of clay is not a good mix!!
