These flowers are in someone else's yard. They are huge and so pretty. I have a small clematis plant which is just starting to bloom so I'll post one of those in a few weeks.

The cottonwood trees are spewing tons of "cotton". As we walked in the park today, I had to make sure I didn't yawn or anything because the stuff was floating down everywhere. There are drifts of it and when Salem walks through one, it's fun to see her wake full of bits of cottony fluff.

The wild roses are blooming like crazy so I practiced my bee photography again (extra). And what I think is an American Lady butterfly (extra) sat still for quite some time so I took a few of it. Those photos didn't come out as well as I would have liked... I need to remember to take my canon to the park tomorrow.
