St Basil's Cathedral

Not, as people imagine, part of the Kremlin; indeed, at one point it was almost removed from its place at one end of Red Square to make room for bigger and better military processions. Actually quite hard to get a picture without including people or black cars - but one of these buildings that are so iconic that you get a thrill just to be standing in front of it.
