Life from city to village

Lines

For the Mindfullness in Creativity project, I'm sticking with patterns, but this week looking at lines.  Unfortunately my compact ran out of battery, so I was looking for something when I got home, then I realised that a dandelion is comprised of lines, or rectangles.

The project reminds me of a line in a song I'm very fond of, by a Scottish singer called Iain Macdonald.

The portrait of a man are lines on a page

The song talks about how we never know the person, only what they leave behind.  The dandelion is one of the most beautiful plants, and yet we spend our time trying to remove it, possibly because it can strangle out the other plants.
