Lake Guerlédan is a place I really love. I didn't pick my day ideally for a quiet time, though, as it was the annual Trail Race around the lake and a bit beyond that as it's only 40 km around the lake (I did it, walking, four years ago, in two days) and the race was an astounding 63 km (and it's not an exceptionally long one, either!).
