Sunset at Windy Point
Yesterday I said too much so today is to balance that out. This blip is from the Windy Point Lookout at Belair. It is a popular place to come and watch the sun set and see the lights come on over the city of Adelaide.
As the airport is not far away, you can also see planes coming in to land. The last of the sun's rays are dipping below the horizon, turning the scene orange. I used a polarising filter that had an interesting effect. No post production was used, so this is straight from the camera. I did add a dash of gum trees into the framing to make it an Aussie sunset!
This lookout is about 10km from the CBD and it one of our city's most popular attractions. Looks interesting in LARGE.
