I met a young woman today who was simply amazing.

She had been in a car crash- drunk driver pliers into her wee car. Broken pelvis and buggered leg. Very painful and six weeks on her back.

Six long weeks where she lost her dignity, was unsure if she would walk properly and thought all her future plans might die too.

As she talked you could see the strength and humour. She is a fighter.

She came in to see me because she wants to lay her soul bare to students so that they might think before they drink and to make sure they appreciate everything they have.

She still gets tired standing and uses a stick.

But she looked pretty invincible to me.

PS her and her fiancée recently announced their marriage.
