First up, thanks so much to all those Blippers for their hearts from the day before yesterday.

I've had a shot like this in mind for a while, but imagined it a little later in the evening with the lights on and even longer shutter speed (this was 2.5 seconds). I went for a drive out to New Brighton with my daughter and got there a little early - still too much light. After a few shots and a bit of a walk it started to rain lightly. I was out on the beach, waiting for the light to get dimmer and instead the rain got heavier. It got to the point where it was starting to rain quite hard, so I packed it in. Happy enough with the shot, though.
