I should have waited a while

I painted this rabbit.
Then I hated him.
So I painted all over him.
Then I scratched into the paint.
Now he's looking...scratchy.
I wish I'd left him for a few hours.
Gone back with new eyes.
Maybe I wouldn't have hated him.
Ach well.
It's just a rabbit.
That took me hours.
