We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay.

Seals on the rocks at Kiel.
Gannets - flying and diving.
Terns - diving.
One large group of Ringed Plovers - gathered near the edge of the water.
Oystercatchers.

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back.
We were very lucky to find one of the few dry spells in the day.
Driving back home after our walk the rain came on and everything looked very wet.

Later Apothecary7 was painting with BBC radio2 in the background.
