A mouthful
C and S, the last of the NZ contingent to arrive spent the day having a tour of the sights of Cleveland, so I had the opportunity to be dropped off at the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve. A great day, lots of new species and lots of photographs that I haven't had a chance to process properly yet. Today's Blip is of the American barn swallow collecting mud and bits and pieces for nest building. Note the darker underbelly compared to the swallows we have in NZ.
A busy social night with everyone together in the house for dinner, first time for C and S in USA. Tomorrow is another big day with K's PhD graduation ceremony.
