Today we had our parent-teacher conference for Miles Dean. We talked about appropriate levels of media exposure, eliminating the pacifier at nap time and bedtime, time-outs, and I asked for some ideas for learning games we can do at home. It was fun to talk about his development both from a social/emotional standpoint and educational standpoint. He's just learning so much right now, and his vocabulary is exploding. It helps that his school has early math and early literacy to their daily curriculum. At this age, the learning is primarily done through 'dramatic play.' While it's hard to be a working mom, it's nice to know that he has such an amazing school to be at everyday.

Tonight we read books (as we do every night) and Hurley wanted to get in on the action.
