Tui

I went for a walk at the estuary but nothing took my eye for a blip; The tide had just started to come in and the birds were very distant. There were a lot of walkers and riders on the track so I didn't linger there.

I came home and it was not long before I spotted a tui at the sugar water. A quick dash outside with a camera and I had a blip for today.

A bit of cloud had come over and it seemed to intensify the colours of the bird. It was rather nervous and checked every direction between sips.
