I had today off to chill out, get a flu jab and to rearrange my room, catch up on boring things!

I've found myself having the latest friday night in ages! I guess I have the stamina for it after a productive but easy day! tonight after Pointless my brother came round for dinner and a movie, we take it in turns to share a film and last time we did this he shared his favourite brit film Chariots of Fire so tonight I introduced him to mine - Billy Elliot! predictably I sobbed at it at various points, possibly more than I usually go! (getting old and so, so sentimental!)

and then we watched some extras before he went home and amazingly I then sat through the WHOLE of The Tree of Life which is what this blip is of! not sure what to make of it but I liked the childhood scenes and I clearly found it compelling as I am still awake!

and then I watched jools holland on I player for The Killers! marvellous! Country File I thought of you!
