Worn Out

We're all totally worn out after a long day in the sun.  So summery that we even had a picnic snack in Stockbridge instead of the cafe after swimming.  It was fine, but nobody does almond crossaints better than our usual in Skylark - all the others taste too much like almond essence. 

Anyway: that, then lounging in the sun, then a long children's party, then the allotment after dinner, then the big shop.  Fit to drop. 

I was suffering from minor allotment anxiety, so all of the brassica plants were put in the ground.  Also: tried out installing some of the polycarbonate where there are panes missing in the glasshouse, which turned out to be very easy. 

This : Courgette plant ready to go in too.  It amused me, though less representative of the day than the extras.
