A bit of a drama....

....but not here! View from Loughrigg Terrace down onto Grasmere Lake.
Later I had a bit of a fall while trying to photograph a waterfall, slipping and badly cutting open my right forearm.
My daughter and her boyfriend looked after me while Amanda went for the car. They had to help me out of the ravine, supported me when the shock really took hold and I briefly passed out, but most importantly, kept the wound as closed as possible to prevent blood loss.
So, two hours in A+E and (very) luckily I got away without stitches, but it was a close call! Tetinous booster, steri-striped and bandaged up - ready to roll!
