A brown trout catch

This afternoon I went fishing on the River Tyne with my nephew Paddy. He caught a lovely brown trout, as blipped. This was not an exclusive outing for the pair of us: Mr hazelh, my parents, my sister, my brother-in-law, and my niece Ailish also tagged along.

The weather has been fabulous in Northumberland all day. Summer is here, after the shortest of springs.

Oh, and this evening I won a game of Catan against Mr hazelh, Paddy, and my brother-in-law.
