Acrylic Dome

A restless night after yesterday evening’s drama. We rise and devour a breakfast of savoury wares from the local bakery.

We walk two kilometres north up the beach to visit the Porto Sea Life centre, where we enjoy the seahorses, sharks, and rays. Austin and Maria head into the city in search of Francesinha. We walk back down the beach and lunch late at a beach café. We let the kids loose to play on the beach while we watch from afar.

We buy ice creams and walk south. The kids want to paddle. Inevitably Freya falls over and soon both kids are swimming around fully-clothed. We’re only 500 metres from the apartment, and it’s a hot day, so they’ll be fine.
