Ban Y Gor Climbing

Today's weather was perfect British summer weather, not too hot, little wind and just perfect for being outside. We headed to Ban y Gor in the Wye Valley to continue the run of climbing we have been on recently. It's a beautiful place and reminded me of some of the landscapes from Last of the Mohicans!

I was really happy to get this route, it's a 6B+, so at the top end of my outside ability. I failed on my first attempt, climbing up the face proved hard and climbing the arete directly was burly! After having a rest halfway I figured out a sequence and managed to get to the top. I then came down and managed it ground up, really happy to get it!
