Changes
It seems as though everything in our life is changing. We're waking up so early that we give up and walk to Peet's in the dark for our coffee. There are no classes to go to since we gave up our membership at the gym. Every room in the house is filled with boxes. Ozzie is aware of this and follows us around everywhere. I think he's afraid we're going to abandon him. Sunday morning the clocks are turned back an hour.
There are bright spots--our son and daughter-in-law might want the rosewood loveseat of yesterday's blip. #3Granddaughter wants my collection of quilt fabrics. Our Santa Rosa realtor called today to tell us about her new puppy, a Newfoundland named Banjo. At ten weeks he's already bigger than Ozzie!
Tomorrow my brother, who has been a wonderful support, is going home to his wife who is in New York this weekend visiting their daughter and checking out the devastation from hurricane Sandy. We will really miss him. We'll go up to Sebastopol for a night, mainly to take up a load of fragile items we don't want to trust to the movers. Who knows, Sebastopol may be our new home if we don't hear soon about a firm closing date on the Santa Rosa house. The word seems to be "no news is good news"....
Apologies for my lack of comments. I'll catch up when I can.
