Canoes

Today we have been to a nature reserve with ancient hill-forts or the remains of them. 
We found an idyllic spot for our picnic by the river. It is the same river that flows through our town. A family paddled canoe past us. It was nice to see that. 
We had a day with beautiful summer weather, even though it is only May. We are grateful.
