Wysteria with a Twist
I was disappointed to have to turn down my invite to the wedding today but with a Bishopsteignton Commitments gig on at the golf club tonight, that had to be my priority. Anyway, I’d have hated to find myself sitting next to Mrs Beckham with her face like a slapped … ah well!
We went up at 3 o’clock to set up and do a sound check as we had to be done and out before the cup final started on the telly as the members will probably want to watch it in peace (although I’m not sure ‘peace’ and ‘cup final’ usually find themselves in a sentence together).
I expect I’ll have a shot from the gig later on but I can’t be sure, so on this lovely afternoon I went out in the garden to photograph our beautiful wisteria, which should be perfect in a few more days. I used the fisheye lens to take 3 bracketed shots to give me an HDR but in processing I also gave it a few tweaks in the warp tool to exaggerate the image from the 8mm lens even more.
Have a good evening whatever you’re doing.
