Eight now

After having five swift nests last year it was disappointing that only one pair returned this spring.  They arrived on 7 May.  Then yesterday after an eleven-day gap a second pair came, and this morning two more pairs.

For me that makes the royal wedding, much as I enjoyed it, today's second most significant event.  It is a tribute to Sony, at the pinnacle of photo technology, that I was able to get this shot.
