Derwent Isle

Before we set off back home we wandered down to the shores of Derwentwater for our last view of The Lakes this trip. 

Another easy journey home via the bus from Kewick to Penrith Railway Station. And then the train back to Crewe, where I picked up my car to drive home. A lot less stressful than driving back down the M6!

Now I've just got to fill in the blank entries for the last few days....

The garden has grown since we've been away, even though it's only been a few days. So once the sun has set I'll be out there with the watering can......
