Partner in crime

My dissertation involves an analysis of about 225 samples of novice scientific writing. While I can hold my own regarding the scientific language usage, the nitty gritty grammar is beyond me. That's where Dr. Swain comes in. She forgot her glasses, so she worked with her shades on instead.
