bit of fresh air and freedom.

Katie has a big day tomorrow. A day that has been our major focus all week, and an underlying focus for several months. She needed an early night tonight so I suggested picking her up from ballet an hour early. It surprised me how happy she was to go along with it. It was lovely to see her putting importance on the day too. Anyway, I picked her up but we still had to make a little stop at the pastures so she could have a seemingly essential climb and a blow off of steam. She was in bed by 7, asleep not much later.
