Not Colin

We popped back to Colin's field this evening but missed his tea-time by an hour. We did hear him a lot and saw him fly over a few times, during one of which he got into a brief tussle with another cuckoo, but as the light started to go and the mosquitoes started on their supper we decided to call it a day. There was a nice group of three other photographers there, including one of last night's, so we had a fun time chatting and, as well as the blackbird pictured, had visits from a redstart, woodpecker, mistlethrush, curlew, buzzard, jay and a hot air balloon.
