Hollingworth lake

I've been working here since I was 15 and playing here since forever. I now realise how lucky we were to effectively have the run of an outdoor centre as long as we kept out the way of sessions and helped out if asked. Learning to kayak, canoe, sail, windsurf, get colder than cold, build rafts various, swim and play in open water, fix stuff we broke, and later to work with all kinds of clients and staff set me up incredibly well. For various reasons working here full time wouldn't be my thing now but it's nice to pop back for a few days here and there.
