Flowery Friday

I don't normally do flowers but our camera club Facebook challenge this week is flowers or macro flowers. Being as I'm rubbish at macros I dragged a fellow blipper along to the local  castle Gardens to get some flower shots. While there, fellow blipper met a friend and got chatting and I got chatting to the only two other people there and what an interesting chat it turned out to be! They were an American couple from Carolina aged in their 70's. They had a surname specific to this particular area and were members of that clan for over thirty years. Last night they had dinner  in a local hostelry organised by the clan who shall remain nameless. The Clan chief was there and when the old girl asked if she could pose to get her photo tooken with him, she said he wasn't best co operative and had a face  that would have soured your cream! She also asked to get a closer look at the clan seat but was met with a brusque no! She was a little put out to say the least! Having filled her in with  how this particular clan made their monies, she was a lot happier when I told her that we plebes usually shunned posh balls in the mouth clan chief with their souther education and the only way  she would get her photae took wouuld be for the Scottish Field. Anyway she got a free history of the area out of me and was much amused at my dismissal of clan high heid yins! I give you a picture of the old girl and husband Chad as extras!
Tomorrow I will be in some far off flung place with no tv!
