Panorama of Lyttelton Harbour
A glorious day in Christchurch, great for a walk up the hill to the Observation Post, and beyond. The Observation Post is one of three used during WW2 to keep watch on the mouth of Lyttelton Harbour from Godley Head. The worry apparently was an invasion by sea by Japan and there were three Battery Observation Posts.
