Egg-laying?

After three days in Leeds, I've been glad of a fairly quiet day - just a reptile transect with Alex and a visit to Sainsbury's to stock up the cupboards. 

This morning I spotted this female orange-tip sitting on some garlic mustard . Although the sun was shining, it was still rather chilly, making her reluctant to fly, and allowing me time to get a number of shots. I watched for a while in the hope that she might lay some eggs, but I think it was just too cold.
