Persevering

Had a wander up to the beacon tonight. Almost clear sky.
Took a few photos of the Beacon with the 'plough' just above it and was fairly pleased with them but decided to go with this one simply because I like the thin cloud and amount of stars I have captured.

I'm beginning to think that perhaps 30 secs is slightly too long and I definitely need a better tripod.
