Don't Look Down!

Well we weren't disappointed with the mattress, we had the best night's sleep in a long time!  So much so, that I struggled to get out of bed this morning, I was so comfy!

I let the boys out in the garden and topped up my bird feeders as well as putting meal worms in the bird house and in my little metal poppy that's really for collecting water for the birds.  I went inside and within minutes the feeders were full of Starlings, they were having a feeding frenzy!  I grabbed my camera, and luckily the back door was still open so I stood at the door and used my telephoto lens.  I took quite a few photos and have put some in my extras.

It was nice and sunny so I went to the outdoor pool this morning and swam 70 lengths, then this afternoon I went to see Chris to have my hair cut.  It was lovely to see both Chris and Tony and to catch up on all their news.  

It's mum's birthday today, so we had a chat on the phone this morning.  Normally she's with us for her birthday, but it's Lorraine's 50th birthday this weekend and we're off to Kettering tomorrow to help her celebrate.  So mum's coming down on Monday and then we're off to Prague on Wednesday and will celebrate when we're there.  Happy birthday Mum! xx
