Overwintered?

For reasons best known only to the Victorians, the park and gardens behind the theatre are known as the Winter Gardens.

This is somewhat of an emergency blip as we're off to the theatre tonight after a busy day.  We saw a performance of This House which, as ever, was excellent.  A play set around the shenanigans of the whips' offices of the Labour and Tory parties during the political apocalypse that was 1974.  (3-day week, 2 general elections, hung parliaments, ending up with Thatcher).
