The School of Arts & Creative Industries's 2018 degree show opens tonight at the Merchiston campus of Edinburgh Napier University. I got a sneak preview of the amazing work by photography students, and this exploded display of work by Calum Rafferty especially caught my eye.

The Caledonia II focuses on a fishing trawler and those who work on it - many of them from far beyond Scotland. A quarter of fishing industry workers here are from overseas countries like the Philippines, Latvia, Ghana and Romania.
