As a very amateurish bird-watcher...

... I surprised myself today, by spotting my first ever tree-creeper. I was fascinated by its systematic movements. When I sorted through the images, I realised I had been watching this one bird for almost 30 minutes.

That scary beak certainly must signal the end for insects that can't get out of reach fast enough.. I've added a couple of extras, including one with a rather full beak.
