Silhouette

I was back in the Lakes this afternoon and had 45 minutes for a Bonnie walk before darkness so made the most of it. So we parked at one of our favourite places in Thornthwaite where we walked through some woods and under a tunnel to Bassenthwaite.

Bonnie of course had her usual paddle while I was busy with the camera! Unfortunately the top of Skiddaw was covered in cloud but I did spot a sprinkling of snow as the cloud was moving around. The nearby fells also have a sprinkling.

I took lots of photos but this silhouette of the dead tree and Dodd over the lake was my favourite.
