Aonach Beag and Geal-charn

We wanted to see the view from the Munro Tops of Beinn Eibhinn and decided the best approach was from the north, We parked at Moy and cycled up an estate track to an old ruin, where we expected to leave the bikes, but the path has been upgraded for quad bikes and we were able to go another couple of kms towards the hill. It was a bit cloudy as we cycled in after overnight rain, but improved as we went up the Munro of Geal-charn and was quite sunny as we walked along the high tops of Aonach Beag and then onto Beinn Eibhinn. The blip is looking back to Geal-charn and shows how much snow is left on the northern and eastern slopes of the hills. The extra is of purple Saxifrage, the first we’ve seen in flower this year. After the summit of Beinn Eibhinn we went up its 2 Munro tops, leaving us with just 10 Munros and tops from which to see the view.
