Light

It was another sunny day today (although the breeze that came in in the afternoon certainly took the edge off the heat.

It the morning I took out the wee camera with the long lens on it - in the afternoon it was the infrared camera.

The was some nice dappled light in the morning that gave me some quite nice shots of the red rimmed trumpeted daffs (more pictures are available).
A robin let me get one clear shot before flying off.
The huge split in the massive beech tree which was home to the biggest crows nest I have ever seen a year or two ago has now been taken over by a tower of bracket fungus.
Clouds and trees and roots were the subjects for the infrared camera (other shots are again available).

Jay is doing fine today after yesterdays operation and has, as usual been mithering for food all day.

'Image Of The Year' at the camera club this evening. The choices are made by the members rather than a judge.
I didn't win this year.
