Wide Wednesday: Water - Blue and Grey

After yesterday's summer temperatures, it felt decidedly nippy under the grey skies at the outdoor pool this morning.

As you can see, only a few hardy regulars were braving the conditions and Tess, Sophie and I had the children's pool (in the foreground) to ourselves. On Bank Holiday Mo day the pool was so busy you'd have been hard pressed to find a spot on the grass to have a picnic

Unsurprisingly, we were the only ones enjoying a picnic lunch on the grass after our dip.z
