Fife Ness

Temporary harbour and lighthouse factory.
Where they cut the stones to shape and dry assembled them before shipping them out to the North Carr rocks to build the beacon.
Unfortunately a storm washed the beacon away before it was finished so our old friend "Mr Lighthouse Stevenson" designed one in iron which was up to the job.
Our last day in Fife was a little cooler but still wall to wall sunshine, Deeside tomorrow.
