Is it worth the effort?

Savoy cabbage terrine of potatoes, leeks, apple & smoked cheese with balsamic beetroot syrup.

Probably one of the most time-consuming recipes I've tried in a while but hopefully worth the effort (and the mess). I shall let my guests decide tomorrow.

Boy, they'd better like it...
