25 years....of being a European Capital City

Today we are in Bratislava......I woke up to this view...... ..
the bridge is crossing the River Danube.....
I snapped the photo at 7.15 from our cabin.....Does the Danube look blue to you?
The single tower, is topped with a revolving restaurant....from which you can see three countries....Austria, Hungary and of course Slovakia
Bratislava has been a Capital City for 25 years.....since Czechoslovakia separated into 2 independent states.......... although its history goes back centuries!
We visited the old town, walking down the cobbled streets, and visited the Cathedral where Maria Theresa was crowned way back in the 1740s
