Fall colors around Deep Creek Lake McHenry, MD

My son has been living in western Maryland for the last 7 years. He went to school at Garrett College in McHenry, MD on Deep Creek Lake and stayed here after he finished. He was married this past summer and he and his wife have continued to live here. They are both joining the Navy and my son is leaving first for basic training up in Great Lakes, IL. This photo was taken on probably will be my last trip to McHenry for some time. I don't anticipate coming back here. I regret that because it is very beautiful. The lake is clear and is surrounded by the mountains of western Maryland. In the fall they are always full of color. I am going to miss this. Maybe a vacation some day, who knows?
