The distant Liver Building gives away my location today. My reason for visiting Liverpool? Two of the Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walks were being held here today. The walk in Leicester last year was on a Sunday, so I missed out. This year I decided to abandon my hometown, I can photograph that anytime, and venture a little further afield.

The day started grey and overcast & it was difficult to get a shot with a decent sky. This afternoon's sky was a little clearer after the rain at lunch time. However, the best sky of all was the red one that appeared when I was part way down the M6. I knew I shouldn't have left early.
